Our Story

Celebrating 60 years in business, Miele’s Restaurant has become an institution in Verona. Rose and Tom Miele first opened it in 1954. In 1967, Joann Amadeo started working there as a waitress. Rose and Tom immediately fell in love with her. When the time came for them to retire, they happily turned over ownership to Joann and her husband Jerry. For several years after, Miele’s was a full family affair.
In recent years, son Steven has taken over the restaurant with his own vision. The addition of a full bar and a remodeled dining room has helped Miele’s become the place to go. Whether you come with a group of your friends or by yourself, you’re never dining alone at Miele’s. The comfortable, family friendly atmosphere is apparent as soon as you walk in the door. Miele’s is the perfect place for private parties. It is also a frequent spot for anniversaries, first dates, and even proposals!
They are currently taking reservations for indoor and outdoor dining.
